Georgetown University is a private Jesuit university located in Washington, D.C. The school was founded in 1789 by John Carroll. The school struggled financially early on but overcame these hardships after the American Civil War, under the leadership of university president Patrick Francis Healy. Georgetown is the oldest Roman Catholic university in the United States. The university’s endorsement of Catholic ideas has led to controversy at times.

The recent seismic activity was a 5.4, which means it was pretty awesome, yet not at all scary.

Princeton Review rankings are out. The rankings list everything from academics, diversity, party schools, to politics. The rankings are usually somewhat controversial, especially the section which ranks the top party, weed smoking, and hard-liquor drinking schools.  The rankings can be beneficial to students because it can convey to the student how others will view their institution.

College campuses have been taken over by Apple’s products. It seems as if you can’t walk twenty step without eyeing a student typing away on their MacBook. With rumors of revisions to the MacBook line in full swing, we felt obligated to post these gorgeous mockups created by designer Mac Funamizu, of Toyko, Japan. Yes, his name really is Mac!
